Port aligners are bellows stages for adjustment or alignment. They are commonly used for magnetic linear transporters as well as for equipment like electron guns, where fine adjustments are needed. For easy fixation, one flange is tapped, while the other has through holes. This improved design now gives an increased ID of 38mm plus the freedom to change the orientation: The item is assembled in such a way, that the moving flange has tapped holes, but this can easily be changed. In addition, the allowed tilt and travel is also increased. Different grades of stainless steel can be requested.
